We include this service for you with our vetted team of ALP Artists to bring more ease and polish to your photo experience. We handle all the details for you, but we’ll have you complete a questionnaire about your preferences, everyday routine, allergies, and any concerns you have to help us tailor your service. Your artist will create a look to match your visual & brand goals and compliment your unique features.

You must arrive with clean, dry hair and a clean, makeup-free face on the day of your session to receive our services. Communicate clearly with your Artist during your service if you want to punch things up or tone things down. I promise, we are not offended by requests for changes - we want you to speak up so we can provide you with the best final result!

For on-location services, your Artist will need you to provide access to a table, working electrical outlets, and lots of natural light - best to do this near a window.

Guests are strongly discouraged. While it sounds fun, in theory, they're often bored or constantly moving because they're in our way. Guests also unintendedly steal your focus and energy - or worse, make you feel more self-conscious. These things tend to not be helpful to the overall goal of the shoot or to your investment.

Please know, we're happy to work with guests when needed, especially when they’re vital to setup, takedown, or something specific. Please chat with us ahead of time so we can help put together a plan.

To be fair to you and every other client in my session calendar, I stick firmly to my schedule. Your retainer holds your date, and that spot is no longer available to be booked by anyone else.

Due to the nature of brand photography and the planning involved for us all, there are financial repercussions to changing your session date more than 72 hours after booking. Non-refundable retainers and cancellation fees cover time already spent on your project, additional labor to reschedule, contractor fees, lost wages, and processing fees.

We get it, life happens. We are here to support you when extreme circumstances arise and will do so to the best of our availability.

Cancellations will result in the forfeit of your non-refundable retainer, plus any additional fees incurred for agreed-upon incremental services, i.e. specialty props or design services, unless cancellation has been made within 72 hours of signing your Agreement, in which case you'll be charged a 10% cancellation fee on your total invoice but will otherwise be refunded.*Non-refundable retainers and cancellation fees cover time already spent on your project, contractor fees, lost wages, and processing fees.

For indoor sessions, we'll continue under any and all weather unless the conditions are dangerous and prevent us from safely getting to the site. We’ll be in contact in that kind of situation.

For outdoor sessions, if conditions are dangerous or likely to prevent us from a successful session, we'll discuss the options of using an alternative location or rescheduling. I'll monitor the weather in the days leading up to the shoot but wait to make an official call anywhere from 4-12 hours out (experience has taught us to wait).

Now that we are all well aware of the Covid-19 virus and its implications, the show must go on. Our team is vaccinated and boosted and adheres to all government guidelines pertaining to Covid-19. We will continue to perform services as planned if we can legally do so under applicable local, state, and federal law. If you are immunocompromised or have other special concerns regarding Covid, please let us know what you need. We are happy to accommodate your concerns by wearing masks and taking additional precautions to the best of our availability. Please refer to our rescheduling policies above if you need to reschedule because of Covid.

It's a great idea to give yourself a buffer before and after your shoot. We ask for you to arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled start time so we'll have time to unload, talk through your wardrobe, and show you the space before you jump straight into hair and makeup.

Please notify us if you're running behind schedule, but also stay calm. Your safety is our first priority. We'll do our best to accommodate you within our means, but it's important to understand that late arrivals can leave you with less time for hair and makeup or lost session time.
